Sometimes its ok to be seen

Kindness is a beauty of its own.

The goal of a carnival ninja is to create beauty without anyone seeing the creation. But sometimes in order to create the beauty, you need to be seen.

So I recently wanted to create some kindness beauty in the world because I found someone in need of it. But I needed to be seen in order to do it. It took some organizing and some planning. It required other people to participate.

So I came out of the shadows and created the beauty in the open. And lots of people joined in.

Maybe a little less ninja than I’d like, but it was full of carnival.

Creativity Take 1 (and 2)

This 30 days of creativity thing could be a lot of fun.

Myself and another ninja were obliged to make a trip to Walmart yesterday. If nothing else, Walmart is  great place for carnival ninjary.

Creativity Take 1:

The Paper Plane Attack

This involves writing nice things on pieces of paper, folding said paper into little paper airplanes and flying said airplanes into the carts of your fellow shoppers. Extra points for landing a plane in a cart one aisle over.

Creativity Take 2:

Post It Love Notes

Pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Procure post its (conveniently Walmart sells them) write messages of love and beauty and leave them all over the place. Voila! Instant smiles. Although the cashier looked me me a little funny for the open post it package.

What did you do to make someone smile?

June is a Month of Creativity!

So, I’m a day behind (and so are you) but I’m challenging all of you ninjas to use your creativity to brighten someone’s day everyday this month.
