So nature created a whole lot of beautiful these early days of February. Everything got freshened up with a lovely fresh blanket of snow.

It started on the evening of the 1st. My carnival ninjary for day one of the 28 days of beauty was to clear off some cars and leave smiley faces on the hoods in the snow. I got to observe someone getting to their car cleared and smiley while I was clearing mine. She looked around the to see who might have left her this little present. Like a good ninja I stayed focused on my task and she smiled, shrugged and drove away.

Yesterday we were snowed in, so the carnival ninjary was limited to neighbors. We made breakfast for one. And I made cinnamon raisin bread for the house which was carnival ninjary for the family.

Today will be a new adventure. But one thing is certain. It will be beautiful.

Leave a note, draw a picture, pay for someone’s coffee, pay a compliment, give out cookies or hugs, just do something kind. Every day. All month.

I believe in you ninjas, I think you can embark on 28 straight days of awesome. Take the rest of January to train. February is going to be beautiful.

We don’t get enough happy mail anymore.  A carnival ninja should work to bring joy back to the mailbox.
